Elevator Pitch 2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvZs3DI8-QI&feature=youtu.be

I was not able to complete the first elevator pitch assignment, so I did not have feedbacks to reflect upon. However, I did go through a few of my classmates videos and all their feedbacks prior to doing this assignment. A lot of the critiques I read were about having more vocal variation and make the pitch sound more alive. With that in mind, I tried to make my tone throughout the pitch more exciting and have vocal fluctuation. I also read that gesturing is a helpful tool when giving a presentation like a pitch, so I attempted to add hand movements at points that I want to have emphasis on.

  1. Hello Yung-Teng,

I think that reading feedback from others' videos greatly helped you because your tone, pitch, and gestures complemented what you were saying very well. Your facial expressions and eye contact also kept the listener interested and engaged. The intro regarding the name of your service is quite clever and the remainder of your pitch presented the methods and objectives of Easy Park well. Great job!

  3. Hi Yung,

I enjoyed your pitch and felt the presentation was clear and great emphasis on key points. You were well dresses and seemed credible. As you began to talk about how the app worked, I started to think about opportunities as to how it may fail if people don’t return the favor. Sometimes less may be best, as you may figure things out in testing. I would emphasize the unmet need and less about the deep detail on the mechanics. I think its most critical to highlight and solution- let them ask how!

Overall, very well done. Good luck!

  4. Hey Yung-Teng,

Great elevator pitch! From what I saw from your video, you clearly took the feedback from other peoples' elevator pitches and utilized that feedback to create this pitch. I really liked your delivery on the Easy park. Also, I agree with Lindsey; your eye contact and facial expressions did a good job at keeping me engaged in your pitch. Keep up the good work!
